Why This Resource Exists
Connecticut does not operate ordinary county sheriff jails. Milford Police handles local arrests and record requests, while the Connecticut Department of Correction operates both pretrial correctional centers and sentenced prisons. That split can make a simple release question hard to route. Milford County Released Inmates organizes the Milford Police records path, the statewide CT DOC offender search, Judicial Branch case lookups, CT SAVIN notifications, parole and probation sources, and the federal BOP locator. It does not replace any official database. Its purpose is to identify which public office or locator fits the custody path.
Records and Lookups Covered
The site focuses on the records that remain useful when a person no longer appears as currently held.
- The home page explains the complete released-person search and Milford record-request path.
- Projected Release, VINELink Inmate Search, and Probation & Parole address specific release questions.
- Facility and agency pages distinguish Milford police custody from state, supervision, and federal systems.
- Official request channels explain how to seek an arrest record, release paperwork, or booking photograph when no public feed exists.
Limits of This Site
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection with Milford Police, CT DOC, the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles, any court, or any federal agency.
- It cannot release, detain, or transfer anyone.
- It cannot post a bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
- It cannot provide legal advice or represent a person.
- It cannot promise that an office address, fee, or phone number has not changed.
Only the government office holding the record can confirm live custody, charges, a release event, or an official document.
Third-Party Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those companies control their own results, terms, and prices. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the public reference pages available, but it does not influence an outside provider's records or fees.
